CONNECTIVITY

Let your business benefit from the latest high speed fixed and mobile network infrastructure through SRD Technology UK

Leased lines

Our leased lines give you the benefit of a dedicated connection to the web that’s solely for the use of your business.

Enjoy better security, faster speed and no contention from other businesses or individuals using the link, meaning performance levels are maintained regardless as to the å of day.

Benefits include:

Faster speeds

Leased line Internet connections have a contention ratio of 1:1. This means it’s all yours. No slow-down at peak times, no worrying about who else is online or how many people are downloading films.

Better Reliability

Enjoy the most reliability possible. Plus, our leased lines also come with much better SLAs than traditional consumer broadband.

Increased security

As the data connection occurs between different points that are controlled by your business, you aren’t sharing information on a public data network.

Remote working

Allow employees to connect to the office from home. This increased flexibility can help businesses establish flexible workplace environments that today’s employees have grown to appreciate.

Gigabit Voucher Scheme

Potential savings though the government backed UK Gigabit Voucher Scheme.

Best Quality, Guaranteed

Our partners core network has Cisco Gold partner and Cisco Powered Network status and has been developed over the last 25 years with business priorities in mind. The result is an infrastructure based on carrier-class hardware architected to scale and the ability to evolve with the new technology and capable of withstanding new trends.

Our Solutions

Broadband
These services are available for businesses of all sizes from single to multi-site locations and are designed to support the continual demand for faster data access.

The importance of high-quality broadband to the business market is at the centre of our offering. All services use our Next Generation Network coupled with BT Wholesale’s next generation access network and deliver asymmetric connections to the internet over end-user telephone lines, which include.

FTTP (Fibre to the Premises)

Fibre infrastructure for the entire journey between the exchange and the customers premise. This is available in areas where full fibre infrastructure already exists. Due to the circuit operating on the latest broadband technology we are able to offer higher speeds with higher rates of reliability. With FTTP there is no “up to” bandwidth. The bandwidth that you buy is the bandwidth that you will obtain over your local access tail.

SoGEA (Single Order Generic Ethernet Access)

SoGEA is the All IP Variant of FTTC. SoGEA offers the same speeds, availability and performance as FTTC but differs due to the service not requiring a Phone Line (PSTN). SoGEA operates on the same Fibre and Copper Infrastructure as FTTC. The main differential is due to the absence of a phone line there is an inability to pass analogue voice over the connection. This product is a future proof broadband product that will still be available beyond the PSTN Switch Off in 2025.

TTC G-Fast (Fibre to the Cabinet)

A broadband connection using optical fibre to supplement part of the usual metal local loop used for connection to an exchange. With FTTC the optical fibre supplements the copper from the DP (street cabinet) to the exchange, in practice this allows for much higher speeds as the length of the copper used to convey data is much shorter.

Mobile Broadband

Mobile broadband connections or data connections give you access to the internet while you’re on the move. They work on the 5G, 4G and 3G mobile phone networks and come with an unlimited data option with Vodafone, O2, EE and Three all managed by SRD Technology UK. All our data connections come with 5G capability as standard now. With 5G you will get higher peak data speeds of on average around 200 Mbps, low latency and massive network capacity and as the networks evolve these speeds will increase to 1Gbps.
